RECREATION, KEY FOR HEALTHY LIFE?


so what is recreation?

RECREATION

refreshment of strength and spirits after work; also a means of refreshment or diversion.. in simple words.. HOBBY and the definition for me, i mean us students it's FUN and RELAXATION..

Recreation is a means of relaxing the mind and the body. They can be an instrument for developing physial health and an outlet for self-expression and creativity. They may serve as a means for developing character and possible clinical applications to individuals with chronic pain and health inpairments and it also helps a person to reduce stress.

just imagine a very stressful and hectic week of school or work and etc. (syempre diba windang na windang ka hahaha) and everyone probably wants a break.. Like duh.. we're humans not robots, we  get tired and feel shits in life (unless kung manhid ka tulad ni ano, charot lang haha). So anyways let's talk about the importance of recreation.

So, first recreation isn't just about fun it's also about finding and getting to know yourself better. Without recreation, life would be unbearable, unsatisfying, and unbalanced .Recreation opens the road to opportunities for self discovery, self expression and creativity as I stated above.


Recreation is about engaging in anything that's pleasurable to our mind. Giving some time for recreational activities on a daily basis, helps in the long run in maintaining overall health. Participate in some a physical activity, play a sport, or exercise daily. These activities pave the way to good health. Research has shown that recreation on a daily basis reduces the risk of diabetes and hypertension, enhances physical and mental health, and improves the quality of life.

There are a lots of things to do during recreation. You can do it indoor and outdoor, just like making a new friend is an easy example of recreation. Well there are popular recreational activites that YOU SHOULD DO. Because  " People who cannot find time for recreation are obliged sooner or later to find time for illness." 

so yeah here are lists of some recreational activities that you can choose to do .

SURFING
SCUBA DIVING



Well the scope of recreation is wide enough to cover the many activities which an individual may freely choose from. These activities maybe performed either indoors or outdoors.

 You can choose to play basketball, badminton,volleyball, chess, card games, billiards and a lot more.
 You can either do a fitness walking, jogging, exercising or either biking to start your day.And also you can choose to do an nature and outdoor activities like camping, hiking/ mountain climbing, swimming, nature tripping and also do some extreme activities with your friends or family.

 But if you're like me, you can also do your miscellaneous hobbies like spending time at one's hangout (tambayan), strolling and shopping at the mall with friends, playing with pets, hanging out with friends, watch movies at the cinema or at home with your family or friends.

But then again, if you're like me who like's to stay in bed and inside the house. I really recommend you to do a marathon on your favorite shows or series. Another option is listen to music or read because there is a hundred percent chance that you'll get bored, i swear. But yeah, just be yourself and have some fun!


Recreation is our opportunity to take that much- needed break from routine. So go ahead and take some break, because recreation is equals to healthy life!
